Andrea views photography as an awakening of the spirit and one's sensitivity to the environment around us. Photography has afforded her the opportunity to see things differently and to have fun and go with it! She no longer experiences the ordinary when camera is in hand. Her work consists of anything she can get her hands on and then some. Andrea experiments with mirrors, glass, home made kaleidoscopes, water, creative blur and pinhole lenses. We have tried to share with you a small sample of her different techniques and subject matter.
She has exhibited her artwork at the Columbus Museum of Art; Grange Insurance Company; The Upper Arlington Library; Mansfield Art Center; Mac Worthington Gallery and Website; Delaware County Courthouse; Franklin County Courthouse; Columbus City Hall; Dublin Chamber of Commerce. She has also exhibited at juried shows which include: Ohio Fine Arts Exhibit; Dublin Arts and Music Festival; Clintonville Arts Festival; Westerville and Grove City Arts Festivals. Andrea limits each photograph to only 20 prints. All photographs are taken with a conventional camera and except for those digitized photographs, all are printed in a traditional darkroom. Although prints are limited, Andrea rarely duplicates prints once sold unless specifically requested as she is always shooting and printing new creations. Andrea takes great pride in matting each piece to compliment the photograph. If you are interested in seeing a framed piece, or in purchasing a photograph, please contact Andrea via email. Most of the photographs are $250 framed and $200 unframed with some exceptions on the digital pieces.
